At the end of Semester 2, Economics and Commerce Students elected their 2012 ECOMS committee. Congratulations are in order to those people who were elected. The Executive have also met and appointed certain officers to their positions. Below is ECOMS Committee 2012:

Here are the results from Wednesday’s Speed Interview Evening. A big thank you goes out to all of those who participated, and congratulations to Ryan Magdziarz, who won $200 in cash for his efforts.

Representatives from our partners will be asking the same questions as they would in real interviews, and giving you immediate feedback on your interviewing skills. At the end of the night, they will be awarding a $200 cash prize to the best performing interviewee.

When: 6:00pm sharp – 7:30pm, Wednesday 26th of Octobeer

Dress: Business attire.

The PwC experience award is about recognising students who balance their

studies with other activities such as sporting commitments and volunteering

in the community. It is open to students of all degree disciplines with at

least one year of their degree remaining. All you have to do is tell us in

200 words or less how you achieve this balance and you could win a prize

which includes:

- Financial assistance towards a course or cause of your choice

- A professional development package run by PwC in Sydney to prepare you

The mentoring scheme is a new initiative this year, and will be a great opportunity for female students to network with succesful women from various firms across WA.
