Coming up this year is an all new series of events that will really give you a head start in your job hunting in this weird crazy jobless market.
 

The ECOMS Simple Life Series

A series of free seminar type events that expose students to some of the everyday realities that we must face in life. With a focus on creating an understanding of these matters, this series will better equip students for their own personal journey both at present and in the future. 

The idea behind ‘Give Me the Simple Life’ is to hold a week of different seminars during our ‘Education Week’, which include different firms with expertise in a particular field. Entry will be complimentary for ECOMS members, and we ask only a gold coin donation by non-members (the funds of which go to charity – as yet undecided).

Currently only the Careers Centre provides anything like this, however as the Business School student Society, we feel it is our duty to provide this service to students with a focus more on the business side of life, with seminars on the following: 

• Taxation 

• Superannuation 

• Property 

• Investment 

• Interview Skills/ Resume Writing/ Networking (Grad
