ECOMS runs a number of vibrant social events throughout the year. With over 4500 members we plan to run both the biggest and best events on campus. The many events hosted by ECOMS aim to ensure that your campus life is filled with loads of fun!

Semester One
FRESHER CAMP
Date: 16th-18th March 2012
If you feel like getting you camp on and meeting a whole bunch of first year students who are do the same course as you, then this is a once in your lifetime opportunity (seriously you can only kinda do it once cause you are only a fresher once). This 2 night, 3 day camp extravaganza provides you with funnels of fun and frivolities with various activities including eating competitions, boat races, beep tests, bus parties, dancing, river swimming, awesomeness, morning yoga and more awesomeness. If you want more info then feel free to email us and make sure you line up early on O-DAY at the ECOMS Tent because tickets sell out fast for our limited spaces (80 freshers). This is a not to be missed event for anyone fresher looking to join the ECOMS tribe and get to know the committee!
PROSH
Date: 4th April 2012
PROSH started as a small paper called the SRUSS-SRUSS, way back in 1931. Since then it has grown to become one of the (b)oldest and (ig)noblest traditions of UWA students. Every March/April a team of dedicated writers get together to produce the PROSH paper, a satirical slant on current affairs locally, globally, and internationally (no one is spared). PROSH is short for ‘procession’ – that crazy day in April when UWA students take to the streets in droves doing anything and everything to sell copies of the paper to unsuspecting victims. 130,000 copies of the paper are produced, with all proceeds raised going to that year’s chosen beneficiaries. Last year saw PROSH crack the $140,000 mark. Help us celebrate and raise money for charity by joining in with the ECOMS theme!
PUB CRAWL

What classier way to celebrate the end of first semester than with a group of friends in your finest business attire, CORPORTATE HOE & CEO style. With 2 full buses pumping the tunes (and sometimes a third), we head around the golden triangle to various water holes straight after end of semester show finishes! Get in and amongst it.
Semester 2
QUIZ NIGHT
Date: 12th September 2012
Always kicking off with a ludicrous theme, this is an brain-busting event where you can show off how smart (or dumb) you are by answering some ridiculously hard (or easy) questions. It’s held in the TAV so make sure that you get a table of 8 organised and come to this wicked event. Watch out for when it is as this event always sells out incredibly fast!
ECOMS BALL
Date: SURPRISE ATTACK
If you haven’t already heard about it, then you must have been living under a rock. This is the biggest ball held in the southern hemisphere! BOOM! That’s right – 1350 university students at one ridiculously incredible ball. So for all of you who have been wondering, yes ECOMS has the biggest balls! With a ticket price that includes basically everything this is definitely not an event that you want to miss out on! Tickets sell out stupidly fast so keep an eye out for when you should start lining up at 6am (yeah people start lining up that early)!
